Surprise! It is another research post like 80% into the project. This time it is on the advertisement postcards.
Side note I just saw Inglorious Basterds and yeah it was good. It had issues but there are certain sections that are like having a chef's kiss. I don't know that is about it. The movie in its entirety is just good.
Alright, so, advertisement postcards, what are they? Why should we need them? Why are they so small?
I am going to start with answering the last question first. They are small because it makes them easy to carry around at place like film festivals and stuff. They are able to give a lot of information in such a small space so many argue that they are the easiest way of advertising more independent productions.
Another thing to note is that the card itself is usually the first way people hear or see anything having to do with the production so whatever is on the card is incredibly important because if it is done well, than it will tell the person important aspects about the film.
